Immunisation for tamariki
The National Immunisation Schedule is the series of vaccines offered free to babies, children and young adults to protect against diseases like whooping cough (pertusis), hepatitis, HPV, diphtheria and tetanus. Read more about the National Immunisation Schedule.
Immunisation for koroua and kuia
Our koroua and kuia (older people) need protection, through vaccination, from illnesses such as shingles, flu, tetanus, diptheria and whooping cough. Read about immunisation for older people.
Outreach immunisation
A Wairau-based service to support whānau with tamariki aged 0-6 who are not up to date with their childhood immunisation. Kaimahi work with a whānau to get immunisations up to date and help connect a whānau to core primary care or Well Child Tamariki Ora services. Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
If you were born after 1969, you may not be fully protected against measles, mumps and rubella. Read more.
